Maritime CCTV Monitoring Platform

IoT / Video Streaming

Eyes at Sea

A suite of IoT endpoints rides aboard each vessel, interfacing with the onboard CCTV installation. They capture regular snapshots of every camera and stream multiple live feeds at once, built for the bandwidth realities of ships at sea.

One Stream In, Many Eyes On

Each vessel streams once, to the shoreside broker, over a custom-made streaming protocol built on WebSockets. A TypeScript backend decodes the incoming feeds and redistributes them optimally to every connected user, so ten people watching a camera never costs the vessel more than one stream. The Vue front end turns it all into a single fleet view.

The Fleet Remembers

Every capture is taggable and archived: operators can scroll back through an adjustable window of fleet history, up to three months of records in the current deployment, with the retention window configurable per fleet. The camera network becomes both a live monitoring tool and a searchable visual log.
